Star Trek V: The Final Frontier is a running gag in raocow's annual advent calendar events, and a recurring object and character in the ASMT series and related games. It is generally considered to be the worst movie in the original Star Trek series.
Background[]
Star Trek V's characterization differs in each of his appearances.
The Get raocow A Present Event series and Stuffed Animal Adventure: The Video Game present him as an inanimate object and a gift (or in GrAPE's case, many gifts) given to raocow and the Stuffed Animal respectively.
In SANICS: A2XT Gaiden, Star Trek V is a powerful sentient being with no established origin and the sole goal of achieving power through ascension.
Personality[]
In SANICS, V is a manipulative megalomaniac primarily driven by his assumed purpose to ascend to godhood. He is willing to go to whatever lengths needed to arrange for fights, up to and including killing Santa Claus; despite this, he is shown to have some sort of moral compass and a sense of honor in his preference for nonlethal attacks and respectful acknowledgement of Calleoca's effort, as well as a thrill-seeking side that takes delight in battle.
Abilities[]
In his base form, Star Trek V is capable of a wide variety of melee and projectile attacks, most of which reference bosses from other games raocow has played including the JUMP series, Hollow Knight, Cuphead, and the Touhou franchise. His most powerful attack, the 25-V Barrage Blaster Buster Beam, is an enormous laser capable of rendering mortals unconscious; the beam is implied to be capable of knocking its victims out for long periods of time but it is less effective against people with plot powers, including the true belief in video games. V is also capable of redirecting trash rockets through unknown and unseen means.
After the fight, Star Trek V ascends to godhood to become his true form, Star Trek V: Collector's Edition. This form
Appearances[]
The gag started in the fourth advent calendar event, the 2018 Get raocow A Present Event (GrAPE) when raocow received a copy of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier every day of the event from an anonymous fan. As a result, Star Trek V has been referenced in each subsequent advent event.
In the seventh advent calendar event, SANICS, Star Trek V takes on a much larger role, serving as both the loading screen of the game and the final boss. When Calleoca and Demo arrive at Zycloboo's mansion for their final delivery, V confronts Calleoca on the rooftop and demands a battle so he can ascend to a more powerful form. V manages to briefly knock Calleoca out with a powerful attack and reveals that he was the one who redirected Pandamona's trash missile to the North Pole, causing the death of Santa Claus and setting the events of the game into motion. He then successfully ascends to his godlike Collector's Edition form, but the transformation is short-lived due to a surprise attack by Pily with a mountain of coal that sends him and the cyclopses crashing through the roof and into the mansion. The final loading screen before the credits shows V still buried under the coal, having reverted to his original form.

Trivia[]
- V's pre-fight monologue is lifted straight from the opening scene of the actual film.
