Whoa, Unaniem made another level!! Look how genuine this emotion of shock is!!!!!!

I feel like that Peculiar Night is a decent step-up from the first level I created, Canopy Journey.

There isn't anything significant to mention, just play the level and everything should explain itself, TBH.

Background music used: Surreal

Important Notes

The level features one exit.

The level starts out near the exit of a mountain and ends in the exact same place, as the level was an illusion in the end, and the player character never actually went somewhere.

The level uses a SMB3 exit star.

Is that a powerup filter at the beginning? If so, that's a pretty poor one, as you can cheese through it with yoshi or Kood. I'm not sure I like having to go all around the level multiple time, especially without any hints. Tentive approval for me, though this may get dropped from episode 1 in favour of another level. -SAJewers | 13:24 ADT, June 29, 2013

This was here all the time?

Would like to make a slight mention that Yoshi won't work in the filter, as the first door the player has to go through first is a No-Yoshi door. Kood is something I'll admit I didn't think of at the moment. Other than that, oh well. - Unaniem | 23:22 GMT+2, July 7

  • That's not a no-yoshi door. You can go through that door with Yoshi and a Boot- Why do you even neeed a filter anyway? SAJewers | 12:16 ADT, July 20, 2013 '
  • Replaced it with an actual one, my bad. The filter is there to prevent the player from bringing Leafs or Tanooki Suits to the level, as you can basically skip almost everything if those were to be used.

I enjoyed this level a lot. The atmosphere was amazing and the gimmick was done very well. The only errors I saw were grammatical errors, two to be exact. Both of these errors are in the same text box though so that can be easily fixed. The 1st error was that "understandible" should be "understandable," and the 2nd error was that "consequences" was spelled incorrectly. Other than that, this level gets my approval by far. I loved it!

Approving this level. I liked the music and the gimmick. Willhart (talk) 07:18, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
