Cinder Canyon

One of my first levels, finished and fixed up to submit to A2MBXT.

Music: Sonic 2 Hilltop zone

Graphics: Alpherio

This level is pretty neat-o. Very nicely done platforming level here, there's only like one thing I would change.

  • I would make the pipes (the blue and yellow ones) a tad longer since at the moment they look a bit ugly.

Great level yo, I enjoy your level design a lot. Approved after a small graphic change.

Approved. Overall, really fun level that kicked my butt a whole lot. Removing that one SpikeTop would be the one major (minor?) change I'd like to see made.

Approved with Changes.  Like Weston said, that spiketop (at 2 minutes in his video. The one on the ceiling before the layer-moving-platform) needs to go. He just breaks flow and slows you down since you need to wait for him to move on to continue the level. Outside of that.... You've got good flavour, great platforming, and all the graphics work well together to make that sort of 'happy-time volcano' feel, if that makes any sense. Good job! If I had one other nit-pick, I'd say that the music isn't ideal for this. It is too remniscent of a grassy-type level to me, to be honest. You can keep it if you want, but I'd recommend looking around for composition's sake. Up to you. Horikawa Otane (talk) 04:44, July 12, 2013 (UTC)

Removed the spike top, though I feel the music it has fits it, and I wouldn't know any other song that fits.

I also looked through the level and fixed up a bunch of other random stuff because it felt odd just changing one tiny thing for an update: I made some things look a little better, made it so koopas your supposed to jump on that previously would go in the lava won't anymore, changed some parts that were stupid and hard for the wrong reasons, and added some NPCs around.

Okey-Doke, I think this level should be headin' towards the approvesd levels now.
